Chocolate Pound Cake

   1/2 cup crisco vegetable shortening
   2 sticks butter
   3 cups sugar
   5 whole eggs
   3 cups all purpose flour
   1/2 teaspoon baking powder
   1 dash salt
   4 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
   1 cup milk
   1 tablespoon vanilla extract



Cream crisco and butter, add sugar and cream it well. Add eggs one at a time. Mix all dry ingredients together. Add vanilla and milk together and then add to first four ingredients alternately with flour mixture. Bake in tube pan at 300°F for 1 3/4 hours.
