Praline Biscuits

Serves: 6

   1/2 cup butter (do not use margarine)
   1/2 cup packed brown sugar
   36 pecans (halves - can use walnuts)
   2 cups biscuit mix
   1/3 cup applesauce
   1/3 cup milk

Place 2 teaspoons of butter, 2 teaspoons of sugar and 3 pecan halves in each of 12 muffin cups. Sprinkle cinnamon in each cup and heat in oven until butter is melted.

Mix baking mix, applesauce and milk until dough forms, beat 20 strokes by hand. Spoon onto mixture in cups. Bake 10 minutes. Invert on cooling rack. Makes 12 large biscuits.
